In this post, I will guide you on how to use the Clone Stamp tool in Adobe Photoshop CC. This is a great video dedicated to helping beginners familiarize themselves with Adobe Photoshop CC.

What is the Clone Stamp tool? In Photoshop, the Clone Stamp tool allows the designer to duplicate or remove an area of an image.

Step #1 — Select the Clone Stamp tool or press the S key.

Step #2 — Use the zoom tool to zoom in and out of the photo. Hold down the atl key and use the middle mouse scroll to zoom in and out of the photo.

Step #3 — With the Clone Stamp tool selected, press the bracket keys [ ] (next to the p key on the keyboard) to resize the brush.

Step #4 — Sample the region by holding the alt key on the keyboard and pressing the left mouse button.

Step #5 — Click and hold the left mouse button to cover up the dandelion.

Step #6 — Hold the alt key and press the left mouse button to sample the stem of the dandelion.

Last Step — Press and hold the left mouse key to clone the entire dandelion.
